Client, an elevator repairman, was driving his employer’s small pick-up truck on the way to a customer’s facility. While driving on a road a large pickup truck plowing snow backed out of a driveway and into the client’s driver’s side door. Client’s head hit against the driver’s side window shattering same. Client complained of minor neck pain and glass in his eye at the scene and was taken by wife to Hospital where he was treated and released.
Client lost time for work and a worker’s compensation claim was file by Attorney Kubic. After three years and three cervical surgeries and fusions the case was ready for trial. A “Strawbuyer” scam where Attorney Kubic’s clients were duped into “lending their name and credit” to a husband and wife team to allow the husband and wife them to get mortgage financing they otherwise could not have been able to obtain. The result was that the clients unknowing became the title holder of a four family inner city home and obligated on an inflated mortgage loan.
With the aid of numerous experts including a legal expert, an Economist and a Mortgage Lending Expert Joe Kubic obtained a favorable monetary result for his clients. The Defendants included the real estate closing lawyer, a mortgage originator and the husband and wife team.
Joe’s clients were glad they were able to receive vindication.

Attorney Kubic was able to establish that a tractor trailer on I-95 veered into his client’s lane of traffic. The truck’s right front bumper clipped the client’s left rear causing the clients to spin out of control such as with a “pit maneuver”.
