After graduating in the top 10% of his class at Hofstra University School of Law and commencing his litigation career in the area of insurance defense in Stamford, Connecticut, Attorney Moyher joined a law firm in New York focusing on commercial litigation and products liability. During his three years in New York, Attorney Moyher represented clients which included both multi-million dollar corporations and entrepreneurship on a variety of issues. Attorney Moyher’s litigation skills were honed and tested in all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester and Long Island, New York.
Following his time in New York, Attorney Moyher became a Senior Litigation Associate at a firm in Westport, Connecticut where he was primary counsel for multiple State and Federal Court commercial litigation disputes for both large and start-up clients, involving a variety of legal issues including breach of contract and breach of non-compete and confidentiality clauses. Attorney Moyher regularly negotiated severance agreements with large and small employers, drafted partnership agreements, and licensing and referral agreements for both newly formed and long-standing businesses. Attorney Moyher also regularly litigated claims of sexual harassment, discrimination, negligent supervision and wage and hour cases, both prosecuting and defense, involving State and Federal statutes. In 2014, Attorney Moyher was named to The National Trial Lawyers Association: Top 40 Under 40 list for his trial skills.
Today, Attorney Moyher is a Litigation Associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Employment practice groups. Attorney Moyher combines his New York fast-paced mentality with Connecticut litigation knowledge to provide clients efficient and effective results.
Attorney Moyher was named as a 2018 Rising Star within the State of Connecticut as an employment attorney which is awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys within the State under the age of 40.
Attorney Moyher further represents clients throughout the State of Connecticut in a variety of criminal actions from drug and alcohol offenses, to both misdemeanor and felony criminal charges.
